Stitching together our Story...

My love for Knitting and Crocheting stemmed from my childhood.

 I remember sitting in my Grandma's living room with a pair of Boye 10-inch straight knitting needles and a dark green wool yarn. My Grandma and I sat for hours as she taught me the basics of knitting (what she could remember). I have been knitting ever since that was 22 years ago.

My Mom always had a crochet project going, I remember her crocheting these beautiful Carebears. She taught me how to do the basic chain and I would sit there and make the longest chains. It wasn't until I moved to Grand Haven that I started Crocheting without patterns. I had a good understanding of the stitches to create my patterns. 

I have always wanted to start a business that revolves around knitting and crocheting. I want to build a community, a relaxing environment to share and build skills.  Once I received my Certificate in Event Planning, I knew I wanted to plan Fiber Retreats. I'm excited to share my passion for YARN! I look forward to meeting you at one of my retreats!
